The problem states that there is disc and the tension in the rope which i wrapped on it is given you are required to find the resultant torque on the disc.
Tips:
1) The first step in solving any problem of mechanics is to identify the system and draw the free body diagram if there are force and torque conditions.
2) Calculate the torque due to each of the forces as shown in the diagram.
3) Determine the direction of the torque and compute the resultant and its direction.
